The Narra Multipurpose Cooperative, Inc. serves as a vehicle for progress of farmers and marginalized people in communities around the San Roque Multipurpose Project (SRMP) in Pangasinan, Philippines. It was founded by Retired Vice Admiral Virgilio Q. Marcelo in 2000 to help alleviate the plight of the poor farmers in his hometown in San Manuel, Pangasinan.

Steadfast resolve and grim determination propelled our Cooperative to success. Indeed, it is hearth-warming to note that we are now in the list of new millionaire cooperatives and Most Oustanding Entrepreneur in the Field of Agriculture in Region 1.
Looking back at our humble beginning, it is quite unbelievable to know that for less than a decade, our Cooperative has grown robustly with now an asset of PhP15 Million! But let it be known to all and sundry that what we have accomplished is the result of our professionalism, expertise and dedication in performing our tasks.

Message from the Founding Chairman
But let us not rest on our laurels. Instead, let us look beyond the horizon of our positive ledger. Let us consider our success as a greater challenge to meet. Lest we forget, the pull of gravity is greater for those who are on a higher plane. We must maintain our good footing. We must be aware that some sectors are looking with the eyes of envy the place where we are now occupying. Let us justify once again that we are not only capable but greatly responsible to do our tasks to the minutest thing.
